First Day of Whole30

For my first day on the diet I had meat patties, spinach, and Raspberry Cream Smoothie for breakfast.  For lunch  I had salmon ginger stir fry.  And I had some fresh fruit and veggies for snack with some bone broth to drink.  I have to admit, the bone broth did not go down easy.  I might get use to it, we will see.  The health benefits are suppose to be great though, so I'll muscle my way through.  :)  For dinner I'm having Chicken butternut squash soup.  We shall see how that one is.  It looks good, and I love squash.

I will also be starting an exercise program along with the diet.  Tomorrow I will be using Leslie Sansone's, "Walk away the Pounds," DVD, and some of Mary Helen Bowers's, "Ballet Beautiful," DVD.  It will take some time to be able to do more challenging workouts.  I will be working out for about 40 min. every morning before we have breakfast.  We'll see how that goes as well.  My blog is going to help me be a good tracker of my progress.

This will also be a pain tracker.  I want to see what my pain does while on this diet.  Today, my pelvic region feels inflamed, very much so.  My stomach pain is doing  better, and I don't have much bladder pain.  My fibro has flared, probably from the stress of getting everything ready the day before and because I've just changed my diet completely.  I'm eating things I wouldn't normally eat.  My body is probably starting the initial shock of the Whole30 diet.  I hope it will soon pass.  Can't wait to find out.

Weight Tracker: October 20th: 152 lbs.  I would like to lose some weight as well.  I'll check this every week.
